Syrlin Elementary School, Ulm – Lacquered ash Industrial Parquet

As part of the new construction of the Syrlin Elementary School in Ulm, we installed approximately 600 m² of our Stabilo vertical-lamella parquet in ash. The engineered hardwood flooring was fully glued down and lacquered with a durable two-component finish—ideal for the high demands of a school building’s daily use.

The renovation took place from April through December 2025 and, in addition to the installation, included extensive subfloor work such as sanding, filling, and applying a bonding primer. Work was carried out on door frames, round and square columns, and floor tanks. Baseboards made of FSC-certified silver fir and aluminum corner rails complete the carefully executed overall look.

The result is a warm, bright indoor environment that harmonizes perfectly with the building’s high-quality timber construction—functional, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing.
