Plank flooring installed in a single-family home near Reutlingen

In this single-family home near Reutlingen in Pfullingen, we carried out a high-quality parquet installation using the 2-layer parquet Comfort Tabis Plank Grande. The large-format planks in 11 × 180 × 1,600 – 2200 mm made of oak Rustic with a structured, oxidatively oiled surface give the rooms a natural warmth and a timeless look.

Before installation, we thoroughly cleaned the screed subfloor of coarse dirt, sanded it and vacuumed it. A PU adhesive primer was then applied to the substrate as a bonding bridge. The planks were fully bonded over the entire surface and aligned straight to the wall. The installation pattern in an irregular brick bond further enhances the spacious feel of the room.

The finishing touches were white-painted solid wood skirting boards made of pine (40/16 mm, chamfer, RAL 9016), permanently elastic visible joints, and door frames sealed on both sides. The result is a harmonious, durable parquet floor that perfectly combines craftsmanship precision and a natural wood look.
