Solid parquet, installation and surface treatment all come from a single source with us. Our solid parquet is produced in our own manufacturing facility, our in-house logistics deliver it directly to your home in Berlin, and it is installed by parquet installers whom we largely train ourselves. Installation of parquet and floor coverings

Our parquet installers in Berlin work with solid parquet from our own manufacturing and also install planks, engineered parquet, vinyl and design flooring. Depending on the product, installation patterns such as English bond, herringbone, basket weave, square pattern and Boarded Parquet are part of our repertoire. We coordinate wood species, room size and light incidence, check the subfloor and take your underfloor heating into account.

Which floor suits you depends on your everyday life.

  • Families with dogs and children often choose solid Strip Parquet or Industrial Parquet because these floors can withstand impacts and the surface can be renewed multiple times.
  • Wide Cottage Plank floors make large living spaces feel calmer. The strongest effect comes from the laying direction: parallel to the longest wall or to the main light source, as this makes the joints visually recede.
  • For renovations with a low build-up height, our vinyl floors or Mosaic Parquet are often used.
  • In kitchens, bathrooms and commercial areas, vinyl and design flooring are a good choice. They can withstand moisture and daily cleaning.
  • Representative rooms often feature Boarded Parquet, herringbone, fine inlays or an inlaid coat of arms as an eye-catcher.

We also offer skirting boards and stair treads to match the look of your floor covering.

Refurbishment and sanding

We sand parquet and plank floors with minimal dust and refinish them. In the process, we fill joints, replace individual Strip and lacquer or oil the surface. We treat office-chair scratches and water stains in front of the dishwasher locally. Whether a parquet floor can be sanded again depends on the remaining top layer. With Berlin period planks from the Gründerzeit, this is usually still possible. We check this on site. The new surface can be walked on after 24 to 36 hours. It will be fully load-bearing later: for wet cleaning, you should only use water after 8 days; place carpets and runners only after about 14 days. You will receive all instructions with your order documents and in our information sheet “Your parquet floor”.

Care and value retention

Our high-quality care and cleaning products for parquet and floor coverings come exclusively from our own development—tailored precisely to the surfaces we install and refinish ourselves. Oiled wood receives care oil; lacquered surfaces receive a suitable maintenance cleaner. We will tell you the right schedule for cleaning and refreshing and show you how to apply both at handover. We answer your questions about parquet throughout the greater Berlin area

For 80 square metres, we install new parquet floors or vinyl floors in just a few working days. More elaborate laying patterns, such as herringbone, extend the time somewhat. We also factor in drying times for adhesive and surface finish. We can provide you with a binding timeframe after the site visit.

The final price depends on many factors, such as wood species, format, laying pattern or the existing rooms. With us, parquet floors are available fully installed from €60 gross per square metre. In the long term, parquet also pays off compared to laminate and vinyl floors, as multiple sanding cycles can replace the need for replacement.

We install and refurbish parquet floors and vinyl floors in rental apartments by arrangement with the owner. For period apartments, we check build-up height, impact sound insulation and existing planks in advance. For listed buildings, we coordinate the laying pattern with the requirements.

Yes. Our parquet floors can be installed on hot-water underfloor heating systems that have been installed in accordance with standards. The decisive factor is the thermal resistance of the entire build-up. It should not exceed 0.15 m² K/W. Our parquet floors are well below that: Mosaic Parquet at ≤ 0.04, Comfort Tabis at ≤ 0.07, Strip Parquet in 22 mm at ≤ 0.11 m² K/W. Because the value adds up across all layers, we generally recommend full-surface bonding.

When selecting wood, oak has proven itself over decades: it responds calmly to the climate fluctuations of a heating season. Some other wood species move more and tend to form gaps or cupping. We clarify in advance with you which parquet is suitable for your construction project.

Before installation, we measure the residual moisture of the screed: permissible values are 1.8% for cement screed and 0.3% for calcium sulphate screed. During operation, the surface must not exceed 29°C, even in edge zones, and humidity should be between 50% and 60%. Details can be found in our information sheet “Parquet on underfloor heating”.

We also take on smaller jobs as well as complete new installations. We replace individual Strip, remove scratches, close joints and refresh partial areas. Send us photos and we will estimate the effort in advance.

In wet rooms, our waterproof vinyl and design flooring proves its worth because it can withstand water, steam and frequent cleaning. Properly executed connections to walls and sanitary fixtures are important. However, installing parquet in bathrooms and wet rooms is also possible. There are, however, a few small details to consider, such as correct installation and avoiding permanently standing moisture. We therefore always recommend a prior consultation in one of our Berlin showrooms. In kitchens with an open-plan living area, we often install parquet, but the same principle applies here.

We are represented at two addresses. In Josef-Orlopp-Straße in Lichtenberg, you will find our large exhibition as well as, in the hall directly next door, our department for refurbishment and reconditioning. The second address is our studio in Wilmersdorf.
